Le proposte sono state valutate indipendentemente da almeno 3 (per Analisi Dati, Modellistica, Laboratorio) a 5 (per Ricerca e Sviluppo) referee anonimi, che hanno espresso una valutazione analitica, riassunta in 6 giudizi numerici, da 1 (scarso) a 5 (eccellente), sui seguenti aspetti del progetto:

Per ogni proposta:
- a) è stata calcolata, per ciascun referee, la somma pesata dei 5 punteggi: C1) lnnovation, C2) Science value, C3) Team expertise, C4) CV del PI, C5) Coherence, ottenendo come
- totale = 2x(C1+C2+C3)+(C4+C5)
- b) le valutazioni del punto C6 Synergy sono state considerate preferenziali e quindi utilizzate solo nel caso di proposte che abbiano raggiunto lo stesso punteggio;
- c) quindi, per ciascuna proposta, è stata calcolata la media dei totali ottenuti al punto a) per ogni referee.
